The Memorandum of Understanding is listing four principle objectives:

1. Providing a forum for the development of consensus views on:

• research, technical and process developments;
• innovation;
• initiatives contributing to increased activity in research and innovation in the construction sector.

2. Promoting such consensus views throughout European, National and Regional Institutions.

3. Promoting collaboration and networking amongst the participating organisations and their constituent bodies.

4. Promoting the dissemination and exploitation of the results of research through the production of guidance documents, and the organisation of workshops, seminars, conferences etc.
